Installation Services
All our installers are trained by our experienced staff at Advanced Window Shutters.
With over 30 years of installing shutters, we pride ourselves on giving you a fantastic service.
As we have our dedicated electricians, all our shutters are installed and connected on the same day. This means we only need to see you twice—the day we quote the job and the installation date. Once the installation date is booked, most shutters take about 30-45 mins to install.
All our installation teams are employed by Advanced, as we don’t use sub-contractors to install our shutters. This give us greater control and service to our customers.
Standard Installation
At Advanced Window Shutters, our shutters are installed between 2 and 10 days from the date you order. We organise the electrician on the same day so that once a date is set, all your shutters will be installed in one go.
Super Rapid Installation
For situations where you need a roller shutter urgently, such as after a break-in, we can offer a special 1-day turnaround. In cases, we have measured, manufactured and installed on the same day. Conditions do apply, so please contact us about this service.
Electrical Conversions
We offer a conversion service from manual to electric/remote drive. This allows you to go from manually operated shutter to the simplicity of a switch.
Conversions take roughly one hour and all traces of manual shutters are removed – we even repair all the previous holes left by the winder. Conversions are usually booked in a couple days, and we can install any of our range of motors giving you added choices.
We Use Our Own Installers
We exclusively use our own installers for all our shutters. This allows us to maintain the very highest standard of installation for our product.
Own Electrician
Have your own electrician? If you are a licensed electrician or have access to one, we can simply install and test the shutters for you. We can then provide you with the wiring diagram and details of the switch needed, leaving you to connect it yourself.
Special Projects
Being a highly flexible and customer focused company, Advanced Window Shutters can provide shutters for a wide range of purposes outside of standard windows. In each situation, we will advice you on the pros and cons of each installation.
Some of our interesting projects include fire proof shutters for ship based installations on Austal Ships vessels, to large slat shutters for a moving roof installation at the Newport Hotel.
